Our family, including three kids, had an awesome time doing the rapids swim after donning wool layers, and survival suits. After a safety briefing and practice moving in the suits we floated the rapids, a distance of several hundred yards, three times. A lot of fun amid beautiful scenery. The experience isn't cheap however the costs are understandable and the numbers necessary to bring the costs down would lessen the experience.
