not even the public parking lot can take away the beauty of the 1812 Park and canal. Check out the cannons, Lewes in Bloom floral displays and Front Street shops. Great way to sit back and relax.

Quiet small park in the center of town with an authentic War of 1812 cannon. Benches for just sitting and relaxing, and watching the boat traffic on the water. Fun stop for a rest when shopping, or touring the historical places in town.

Just across from the Cannonball house is this little park, and why not make the few short steps over to admire this small park?

Beautifully manicured, historically informative and just calming. I enjoyed a couple of dusky walks with my wife through the park and along the canal. The first town in the first state starts here.

So much thought went into this and for a small town park we were very impressed. Lewes is lovely street after street. We will be back.
