What a nice spot to walk to and around in Natchez. A beautiful view over the Mississippi River and points west.There are stairs or fairly steep drive down to the under-the hill area (and Casinos) that are also worth the hike. The trail at the bottom of the bluff had nature type points of interest signs along the way.

Nice area to walk and have a good view of the Mississippi River and surrounding area. Lovely green space with gazebos, the old rail station and memorials.

We were the only ones at the gazebo for sunset and I must say it was one of the most breathtaking sunsets I have ever seen!

Trails on the park and below with lots of informational placards of the history of the town. It stretches a long way along the waterfront with benches and now in December, Christmas decorations.

Wonderful fall visit. The weather was absolutely perfect and the views breathtaking. We highly recommend! Note: It is easily accessible for the handicapped.

Great view of THE River, great for watching the annual hot air balloon race of fourth of July fireworks. Nice walkway along the bluff, antebellum homes overlook the river and nice picnic area

We did not spend too much time here, but I should say that the area we saw was very nice. Very nice views of the river and it is fun to watch the barges and boats go by. The walkway was nice and the area was clean. A bit hot in the summer if you are there in the middle of he day.

If you're not lucky enough to be staying in a hotel within walking distance, park your car in the parking area and walk the bluff along the Mississippi. Don't stop when you come to the north end of the sidewalk, continue up the road for more of a beautiful view and some lovely houses, some of which are Bed and Breakfast inns.

well worth the visit to see the river and bridges , view up and down the Mississippi is awesome , plenty of free parking.Don't miss this view if you have 15 minutes to spare

If you are a runner or walker this is the best place I found in Natchez for exercise and views. Sometimes my attention was drawn to the beauty and away from the exercise.

Nice view of the river. Shops in the old railroad station were all closed. But that's how the whole town is - nice views, but a lot closed.

We sat and watched the sunset from here two different nights. It is little more than a parking lot and an esplanade for a stroll. Eeeh?

Great place to view the river. Convenient free parking and benches to sit on and enjoy the view. Good central point to park the car and take the self-guided walking tours through town.

Can never get tired of the Mississippi - have seen it in so many places and am always in awe, it is so grand. Part of the appeal of Natchez is its location by the river and this Park and its sidewalks is a great place to enjoy it at its best.
