Bender's prides itself on being a farm in the city. That couldn't be more true. On one side is I-81, on the other is commercial development. It makes for an interesting atmosphere. They have both a barn store and animal pens for children. The store is stocked surprisingly well. They sell a lot of produce, but I think only some of it is grown on site. I'm a fan of their fresh honey (they even have a live bee hive display). In the Fall, they have a pumpkin patch for those pre-Halloween outings. It's an interesting concept, but Benders truly is a farm in the city!
