This diminutive 9th century church (now permanently locked) is a sad remain of Trabzon's Byzantine past. On the outside, the only decoration consists of a relief over the side door, while the guidebooks say that the frescoes that once adorned the interior walls have been completely obliterated since 1923.

Маленькое старинное здание. Очень привлекательное месторасположение. Красивый вид на море. Ездили семьей. Осталось приятное впечатление.

Сходить посмотреть один раз можно, вход был бесплатный, народу немного) Открывается хороший вид на побережье и горы

E' la chiesa più antica di Trebisonda, ma è chiusa alle visite e ubicata in un ambiente anonimo, fatto di costruzioni moderne e senza carattere. La sua struttura è interessante, ma nel complesso ci ha lasciati delusi.
