the tourist drive to the lookout is great with dry stone walls on the way. Continue on to see the little villages and more moutain scenery

Make this trip then go on to some of the lovely country side you will have seen from that lookout. This does have great views and it is wheel chair friendly - not far to walk at all. On the way up you will see some of the very old stone fences too. No other facility up there but worth a drive.

If you get a little tired of the endless beaches of the Gerrongong/Shellharbour area, drive up to the Saddleback Mountain lookout for an amazing view of the region. On the day we went, it was quite cloudy, but through the cloud, it was a brilliant view. Would be magic on a sunny day

Best to go after its rained and the view is amazing. The stunning countryside around Kiama and up to the escarpment is wonderful. Make a tour of it and add Minnamurra falls and go up to Robertson as well.

Go on a clear day and you can see for miles and miles. The drive is almost as good, the rock walls and scenery on the way are amazingFor a really great experience you can walk from here up the saddle to Barren Grounds

You get a glorious view on a beautiful clear day. Seeing the green fields and the ocean beyond was very therapeutic.

The view from the lookout was absolutely breathtaking. It felt like I was in the clouds looking down onto the mountain ranges.

The view south from the lookout over the east coast is pretty spectacular but the real winner is in travelling back down the hill to Kiama and looking back north over Jamberoo Valley and Kiama/coast. I've been to many places around the world including the Alps; Scotland/England/Ireland and for a local this one is right up there.

This is a must when you are in the area. The view is just amazing. Don't forget to take your camera. If you are lucky you will see the beautiful lorrikeets feeding.

The slight detour is worth the incredible view. The road is a little bumpy and after 5 minutes off road, I wasn't sure if it was such a good idea until we saw the view. A great place to find some peace and serenity.

A scenic drive up to the top of mountain to the overlook. Just a short walk to the platform. It was foggy when we went but our best view was of a Wallaby sitting next to the overlook. It let us take pictures, and our friend who lives near there had never seen one before in the wild til that day.

The 280 degree view is well worth traveling up the steep road to get there. This is the place to take some amazing photos of Kiama. It is only 15 minutes from the coast and on a clear day you can see for miles.Good place to relax and have a picnic or barbeque.Don't miss this place.
